Adding a shortcut to a folder in a panel on Linux Mint

To add a shortcut to any folder you like e.g. Ubuntu One

Right-click on the panel and choose Add To Panel

Choose Custom Application Launcher and in the window write anything you like as name. It will appear when you run a mouse pointer over the icon. For Example Ubuntu One Folder. You can choose an icon, just click on the funny spring icon and navigate to an icon file. The most important is the Command:

The comman is nautilus file:///home/blatte/’Ubuntu One’ where blatte is the username I have. So change it for yours and you have direct link to any folder you like and use most often.
